Letting the location tell the story. Global Partner Conference in Athens

Why: Global Partner Conference. Milestone Event

location: Athens

industry: Law

The challenge:
To mark 25 years in Greece and the opening of a new Athens office, our client chose to bring its annual Global Partner Conference to Athens.

This event needed to do more than celebrate a milestone. It needed to reflect the firm's growth, recognise its Greek colleagues, and strengthen relationships across the partnership.

Hosting the conference overseas introduced a new level of logistical complexity. But choosing Athens wasn't about convenience, it was about meaning.

What we did

Meaningful Location

Hosting the event in Greece recognised the people and culture that had shaped the firm's success over the past 25 years. It placed the Athens office at the centre of the story and gave the wider partnership a shared understanding of why this milestone mattered.

That thinking influenced every part of the programme. The conference theme, Go Far, Go Together, was brought to life through carefully chosen venues, local experiences and opportunities for people to connect beyond the meeting room.

The closing gala at the Vorres Museum captured that idea perfectly. Blending traditional Greek heritage with contemporary design, it reflected both the firm's history and its future.

Visible Progress

This conference needed to feel different from the moment guests arrived.

After five years of partnership with The Wentworth Collective, the event itself became a reflection of the firm's continued growth, from smaller conferences, to bigger venues and now, an international location.

The meeting environment evolved with enhanced production, LED screens and stronger event branding, while technology simplified registration, session selection and delegate feedback.

These weren't simply production upgrades. They were visible signals of progression, reinforcing the confidence and ambition of the organisation at an important moment in its journey.

International Delivery

Delivering an international conference requires far more than moving an event from one country to another.

Multiple site visits, detailed project planning and clearly defined workstreams ensured every aspect of the experience was considered long before delegates arrived. From travel logistics and supplier management to production, catering and technology, every decision was designed to protect the guest experience.

When unexpected challenges arose, from venue construction to supplier performance, they were resolved behind the scenes, allowing the client to remain focused on what mattered most: their people.

The impact

Choosing Athens was about far more than location.

It recognised the firm's 25-year presence in Greece, celebrated its local team and created shared experiences that strengthened relationships across the partnership.

The result was a conference that reflected not only where the business had been, but where it was going.
