The challenge: Create a virtual experience that people actually want to attend.

Vitality came to us looking for an event that would push the boundaries of what their team believed was possible.

In the midst of zoom fatigue, we delivered a bold, broadcast-quality event that proved virtual can be vibrant and led to a long-term shift from traditional roadshows to dynamic, studio-style product launches to reach more people, more effectively and more memorably.

"This wasn’t just a virtual party. It was a masterclass in digital connection."

WHAT WE DID

A TV Show

We created Vitality’s Got Talent with no compromises.

Real-time voting. Dance-offs, and Coming Up Next teasers to keep momentum high and attention focused.

We ditched Zoom. Instead we live-streamed from a studio, with a TV host so the event was less like a work call and more like Saturday night telly.

A TV Host

Nobody does live broadcasting better than an experienced TV host.

We booked Saturday night TV favourite, Claudia Winkleman to host our event.

When Claudia’s name dropped as our host, sign-ups surged from 1,500 to over 2,000.

Claudia helped us weave broadcast-quality experiences throughout: surprising winners on their doorsteps, styling out unexpected moments and keeping our hosts at ease.

"When am I getting the script?" Claudia asked on day one.

The Right Tech

To steer as far away from Zoom and Teams calls as possible, we deliberately chose a tech platform that was different to the tech our attendees were used to.

This may seem like a risky move, but it was an intentional play from the start.

We landed on virtual event platform: Big Marker. A brilliant choice. New, exciting and it brought the wow factor.

THE IMPACT

Thank you so much for helping us stage a wonderful year-end party on Thursday night - the feedback has been glowing!

For events to have lasting impact, it’s less about the format. More about the feeling.

Amid zoom fatigue, Vitality’s Big Night In pushed the boundaries of what guests believed was possible and delivered unprecedented engagement.

Not only did the event have more than 2,000 attendees, those that joined stayed online for the entire show - a full 90 minutes. In the world of Teams meetings and Zoom calls, these sorts of engagement metrics are almost unheard of.

Proof that done right, virtual events can be deeply engaging, deeply emotive - and fun.
