The Wentworth Collective

Risk, realness, and remarkable connection

Why: Client Engagement. Wellness Evening

location: Central London

industry: Events / Professional Services

The challenge: There is a lot of talk about women in business, but it’s often focused on problems, rather than possibility. But what’s the right format to make this happen?

So we hosted a client wellness evening. 20 female leaders brought together in a truly connected way with two empowering speakers to inspire them.

"For years, I'd imagined bringing 'Better You, Inside and Out' to life. A space where women could explore their second spring" with honesty, confidence and community." - Lisa James, Founder, The Wentworth Collective

What we did

The right speakers

We wanted guests to go away with practical, tangible takeaways that would improve their day-to-day lives and leave them feeling inspired by possibility. We knew just the right speakers to achieve this - two women whose work has changed Lisa’s life.

- Dr Vera Martins, a naturopath who guided us through the three pillars of hormone health.

- Lizzie Edwards, a stylist whose book, "Look Like the Leader You Are," reminds us how clothing shapes confidence.

Their sessions covered everything from blood sugar balance and flaxseed benefits to wardrobe edits and personal branding.

“It’s been a while since I attended an event that left me with quite as many actionable tips as this one.”

Intentional Design

This was a small event, just 20 people, so comfort was key and every detail was considered.

- The event was held over Spring equinox so we put daffodils on everyone’s chair.

- Hosted in The Library at Vintry and Mercer Hotel. Intimate, centrally located. We encouraged everyone to bring a colleague to keep it relaxed.

- Worked with the chef to make sure the menu aligned with the nutritionist’s guidance.

- Our goodie bags were carefully curated based on the evening’s topics: magnesium lotion, quality hangers for wardrobes and copies of Lizzie Edwards' book for people to take home.

The finishing touches and thoughtful goodie bags symbolised the care and support that filled the room.

IMPACT: A breath of fresh air

"This event was a breath of fresh air and both talks reminded me of the importance of self-care and embracing change.”

“The energy in the room was beautiful and I met amazing women.”

“Amazing company, venue, and a lot of food for thought I loved both sessions, as well as the thoughtful touches like the tote bags and daffodils. “

“When an event is done right...
Attention to detail, Interesting women, Stunning location. Tasty and nutritious food. Informative, educational and empowering. “
